Do You Think DIY Foam Core Insulation Is the Suitable Option for You?
I am not a master craftsman or anything like that, but I do like to handle minor projects around the house. I see no reason to pay someone else good money if I can do the same thing myself. Most of the jobs I take on are things that are covered in even the most basic diy books and manuals, so I've been able to complete my projects fairly well. Then it came time to soundproof the attic. I started researching about Do-it-yourself foam core insulation and wondered if that would be a good option for me. In the end, I decided that if I did the job right, I could most likely end up saving lots of money on my energy bills.
On the very surface, Do-it-yourself foam roofing insulator sounds like something which would be fairly simple to control. The compound begins as two different liquids that are housed in canisters. The canisters look like the propane tanks which hook up to my gas barbecue grill, and they sit alongside one another with hoses running out of them. But if I get sloppy, then there's a chance I am going to need to hire a professional to come in here and cover up my mistakes. That is exactly the kind of waste I am attempting to prevent, so it's best to take things one step at a time.
