Cordless Power Drills Can Make Any Task Less Stressful Because Of Increased Mobility

Cordless tools have many advantages over corded tools the majority of which have to with increased mobility and not needing to depend on proximity to a wall exit. Of these my fave is maybe the cordless drills because it has so many every day uses. You can drill a hole, hang a picture, fix your cabinets , and many other daily chores.

Some of the other convenient power tools available include :

  • cordless sawsall
  • cordless grinder
  • cordless nailer

Dremel 8200

A battery screwdriver is also a most handy tool with many of the same uses as a cordlesspower drill. They come in an array of sizes from little inline screwdrivers that slot in your pocket to larger models more closely resembling a tiny power drill. Battery screwdrivers make great gifts because they have so many everyday uses and they are comparatively inexpensive.

Another helpful and affordable tool is the Dremel tool which comes in both corded and cord-free models. The Dremel 8000 and the Dremel 8200 are a couple of the cordless models that Dremel offers, and these have a very wide range of uses from etching glass to polishing gems. You can work in wood, plastic, glass and plenty more. They are really convenient for arts as well as decorative woodworking.

Another tool that is extremely helpful though not often cordless, though there are cord-free models on offer is the router. This particular tool takes a little bit of practice to learn how to use it well, but the effects and joints it allows you to create are definitely worth the time spent. Some employees are backed off on employing a router since they are basically a motor with a revolving cutting blade attached and they do need careful use. If, again, you take the time to learn to use it well your work will start looking like art.

There are a wide variety of cord-free tools available such as cord-free saws, wireless sanders, cordless nailers, etc... They are sometimes more expensive than the corded models thanks to the cost of the battery. And while they are more mobile, they are also heavier due to the weight of the battery. Still for my money I like cordless tools for most jobs and I know not everyone agrees with that.

I do suggest that you at least give them a try and see what you believe.
